Der Europäische Tourismusverbund „Stätten der Reformation“ e.V. stellt die LUTHER-TOUR zur ITB 2009 in Berlin vor.
Pressekonferenz: 19 Reformationsorte in Deutschland, europäische Landes-und Hotelpartner stellten die neue Reiseroute zu Martin Luther zur Internationalen Tourismusbörse in Berlin vor. Die Reiseroute LUTHER-TOUR ist in enger Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Verbund und der Deutschen Zentrale für Tourismus (DZT) entwickelt worden. Das Thema „Luther und die Reformation“ stieß an der Messe auf reges Interesse bei den Medienvertretern und Reiseveranstaltern. Das Kooperationsprojekt LUTHER-TOUR wird als eine große internationale Vermarktungschance gesehen. Neben deutschen Touristen liegt ein bedeutender Quellmarkt im Ausland, bspw. in den USA und Skandinavien. Die Vertreterin der DZT, Gabriele Dittmer bezeichnete die Luther-Tour als richtungweisendes Projekt für die Vermarktung der Lutherdekade 2017, die im vergangenen Jahr in Wittenberg eröffnet wurde.

Press Conference: 19 Sites of the Reformation in Germany, European and hotel partners, introduced the new travel route about Martin Luther at the international travel trade show, ITB in Berlin. The LUTHER-TOUR was created in close cooperation with the German Tourism Office. The subject “Luther and the Reformation” found great interest among the media representatives and tourism companies who were present. The cooperative project creates a variety of international marketing opportunities. Aside from German tourists, the USA and Scandinavia represent an important source of in-bound tourism. Gabriele Dittmer from the German Tourism Board named the LUTHER-TOUR an indicatory project for marketing the “Luther Decade 2017”, which opened in Wittenberg last year.
